Sitting in a sun room in the North Woods doing a little songwriting. Barker snoring like a classic houuuund!! I’m hoping to surprise the band with a couple of new tunes at this week’s rehearsal (shhh, don’t tell them!!). In the meantime, just enjoying the weather and looking forward to upcoming shows in some new venues to us. Hope to see you all soon!

Saying a quick hello from Hawaii. I snuck over to the islands for some time with family and a bit of a “battery recharge”. Having a blast. Even writing some songs over here. Maui never gets old. One of these years, I may start playing ukelele in a beach bar and never come back.
Anyways, we’re really exited to get out of the rehearsal studio and back to the stage. See you all soon. Spread the word…

We are excited to finally announce that The Cool Waters Band is reuniting FOREVER! lol. Seriously though… we’re back at it. Looking forward to new shows, new venues, new fans, and the same ole good times. We’ll be kicking things off at Mill Creek in Appleton on April 18th where we will welcome back Mike Cool as our full time bass player. We will also be playing Jimmy Seas in Green Bay on April 25th followed by a trip to the vintage Algoma Club in Oshkosh on April 26. See our full schedule here.
Our immediate goals are to polish up the old “vinyl”, learn some new covers , and begin working on a batch of new tunes that will hopefully come together on an album next fall. We are also booking summer shows, festivals, and parties of all kinds, so if you know of something, drop a line.

Fox Valley fans tune into 105.7 WAPL the morning of Friday, November 22. CWB will be a part of a broadcast of the Rick and Len Show live from Rock Garden Studio. We’ll be performing a few songs and talking about our upcoming shows. Here’s the cool part… the entire show will be taped in front of a live studio audience. This November marks the 20th anniversary of Cool Waters. It was the day after Thanksgiving in 1993 that Mike Cool stopped over to the Waters Residence to pick up Greg for a night out on the town. Instead, Mike, Greg, and Dan ended up spending the Holiday weekend in the Waters’ basement recording their first “demo” – The Madiera Sessions.
20 years later, we invite you all to join us in celebrating 20 years of absolute craziness. The band will be playing two shows over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. Songs will span from ’93 to the present and both shows will be sure to feature their share of surprises.
